Help create double the opportunities for young people facing barriers to employment

This June, every donation to Scarf will go twice as far.

Thanks to the generosity of a group of long-term Scarf partners and a wonderful family foundation, every donation made to our 'Double Double' campaign between 1–30 June will be matched. So, we're aiming to raise $25,000 online this EOFY, which will become $50,000 thanks to dollar-matching. These funds will help ensure we can offer at least 60 new trainee places in the next 12 months, to meet ever-increasing demand for Scarf Programs.

As we approach a significant milestone (welcoming our 400th graduate) we're proud that more than 70% of seasonal graduates are in employment within six months of completing the program. Every contribution helps create more opportunities for young people to build skills, confidence, networks and pathways into employment.

Real impact, real futures

For 2024 Scarf Graduate Rose, the program helped open doors to a career in hospitality. Rose has worked at numerous Scarf events, including our Do More Than Dine gala dinners in 2025 and 2026. She's been working at Tippy-Tay at Garden State Hotel for almost two years, and recently co-created the cocktail list for our Autumn Scarf Dinners. In a recent Q&A, Rose said:

I feel like my skills and confidence just keep on growing bigger.

$30  Covers one hour of paid work experience, doubled to two hours

$400  Helps us run a job-readiness workshop for eight trainees, doubled to two workshops

$1,000  Helps fund work experience opportunities for one trainee across a seasonal program, doubled to support two trainees
