Graduate Voice Launched in 2023, Graduate Voice ensures that the people with the greatest understanding of our programs — our graduates — play an active role in shaping Scarf's future. Co-facilitated by 2018 graduate Mel Watson and Scarf's Program & Wellbeing Manager, Neil Baxendale, the Graduate Voice group brings together graduates from across different cohorts and backgrounds to share their experiences, perspectives and ideas. Meeting regularly throughout the year, members provide meaningful feedback that helps strengthen Scarf's programs, policies, partnerships and overall participant experience. . Graduate Voice is built on a simple belief: the best way to improve our work is by listening to the people who have lived it. . The group provides a dedicated space where graduates can reflect on their journey through Scarf, identify opportunities for improvement, test new ideas and contribute to organisational decision-making. Their insights inform everything from program design and participant wellbeing to communications, organisational strategy and future initiatives. As with all work undertaken by Scarf trainees and graduates, Graduate Voice members are paid for their time, recognising the value of their expertise and lived experience. Graduate Voice also creates opportunities for graduates to continue building their confidence and leadership skills beyond the program. Members develop their ability to communicate ideas, collaborate with others, think critically and influence positive change, while helping create an even stronger experience for current and future Scarf participants. Graduate Voice is more than an advisory group. It is an important part of how Scarf works: ensuring that the voices of our graduates remain at the centre of the organisation as we continue creating pathways to employment, belonging and opportunity. .
