Since 2010 The below figures are current at 19.05.23 We’ve run a total of 37 programs; 28 ten-week Seasonal Programs, six Scarf Tasting Plate programs and three Skill Up with Scarf programs We've offered a total of 330 trainee positions to young people facing barriers to work 308 young people have graduated from our programsHear directly from our graduates in these videos We have a 93% program retention rate We’ve provided 10,388 hours of paid work experience We've provided 9,088 hours of wellbeing and job readiness support We've run 265 Scarf Dinners and events in 38 partner restaurants We've paid Scarf trainees and graduates a total of $264,937 in wages during Scarf Dinners and events* Trainees have engaged in 19,189 hours of awesome, hands-on training and mentoring at venues like Five Senses Coffee, Stomping Ground Brewery & Beer Hall, Garden State Hotel, Ladro and Kitty Somerset 300+ hospitality professionals have volunteered as trainers and mentors in our program, from businesses including Market Lane Coffee, Bar Thyme, Carlton Wine Room, Uncle, Garden State Hotel, Five Senses Coffee, Pullman Hotel, The Everleigh, Cumulus Up and Copper Pot Seddon We’ve served 18,378 diners during Scarf Dinners 72% of Scarf graduates (from Scarf's 10-week Seasonal Programs) have found meaningful employment within six months of completing the program Scarf trainees have gone on to fantastic jobs at Garden State Hotel, IDES, Siglo, Vertue Coffee, Super Ling, Bodriggy Brewing Co, Free to Feed, The European and Spring St Events, Keg King, Koko Black, Sofitel on Collins, Atticus Finch, The Plough Hotel, The Two Birds Nest, The Lincoln, Maha, Attica, The Moor’s Head, The Penny Black, Peter Rowlands Catering, Mount Zero Olives, Gladstone Park Hotel, Thirsty Camel, Parkroyal Hotel, M.Pavilion, Bibendum Wine Co, NAB, Box Hill Institute, VicSuper and Brotherhood of St Laurence * Scarf trainees and graduates are paid Restaurant Industry Award wages for their work during Scarf Dinners and events. . .
