Spring Scarf '23 Collective 'Scarf Champion' appeal Donate We’re expecting at least 500 diners during Spring Scarf '23, and if every second person who attends a Spring Scarf Dinner donates $20, we can collectively raise $5,000. These funds will go a long way towards putting one trainee through our life-changing 10-week program. If you can donate more, we'd be so grateful. $55 "Pay it forward!" $55 pays for a graduate to come to a Scarf Dinner, or buys a complimentary ticket so a current trainee can invite their friends/family to dine $80 provides two hours of one-to-one wellbeing and job readiness support for a trainee or recent graduate $150 pays a trainee's wage for one night of work at a Scarf Dinner $250 pays a trainee's wage for one hands-on work experience shift and two follow up job-seeking sessions with a Scarf Team member $400 allows us to run a strengths-based Job Readiness workshop for eight trainees, which covers resume-writing, how to apply for hospitality jobs, 'Work Rights and Responsibilities in Australia' and more $1,200 will pay one trainee's wages (Restaurant Industry Award) across a season of 8 x Scarf Dinners $10,000 allows us to offer one trainee place* in a Seasonal Program *covers 10 week education program, wrap around trauma-informed wellbeing support, wages, program expenses and up to 6 months of post-program support. Approximately $1,500 of this donation is paid directly to the trainee in award wages.
